Watercolour Floral Experience Day – Book Now

watercolour experience workshop northern ireland image

Spend a day at Gobbins Studio to relax and unwind. After a morning dander across the farmland and a visit to the little woods, you get to further relax by painting and sketching a floral piece which has been selected from the different plants growing in the hedgerows around the farm. Painting activity takes place in the studio which had a previous life as an old byre. It maintains its old charm and is a cosy well lit relaxing space for painting activities. Enjoy a healthy light lunch (eaten outside if weather permits) and take in the views from the cliff top farm, listen to the bird song whilst tapping into your creative side. This is a relaxed and informal day suitable for complete beginners who are interested in trying their hand at a loose style of Watercolour. If weather conditions are bad on the day, instead of a farmland walk we will have local folklore stories around a cosy wood burner. Maximum of 8 people for this one, so individual attention is guaranteed. The day includes tea/coffee and a selection of Irish breads cheese and chutneys for lunch. All materials provided including a mount for your completed piece of art work.
